Kim khoa nguyen

Dr. Kim Khoa Nguyen is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering of the University of Quebec’s Ecole de Technologie Superieure – the largest engineering university in Canada. In the past, he worked for Alcatel Systems (Alcatel-Lucent) and a nationwide operator in Asia-Pacific, as well as for HyperChip in Montreal - the world’s pioneer in next-generation petabit router, and Inocybe Technologies. He was an architect and key developer of the GreenStar Network, the world’s first neutral-carbon network of green datacenters, funded by CANARIE, and led R&D in several research projects funded by Ericsson, Ciena, Varitron, and Inocybe, as well as Canadian government. His expertise includes software-defined networking (SDN), network virtualization virtualization (NFV), Internet of Things (IoT), cloud computing, big data, datacenter architecture, high speed routing and switching, wireless networking, M2M communications and green ICT. He holds several industrial patents and has published more than 50 scientific papers in the field.
