Arash Samari

I received my bachelor's degree from Babol Noshirvani university of technology in 2016. I am a master's student working in the Synchromedia lab at École de Technologie Supérieure (ÉTS) in Montreal, CA. My primary research interests include computer vision, machine learning, and data analysis. My master's thesis is about object detection in document images using machine learning. In this collaborative work with McGill University, our goal is to design a deep neural network that is capable of detecting different visual elements of document images, particularly historical manuscripts, accurately and efficiently. I was an intern with Mitacs accelerate program at a Biotech startup in Toronto, CA. The main objective of this organization is to develop an Inflammation Intensity Score based on AI analysis of blood biomarkers. My collaboration for this project is to analyze and engineer medical features to prepare practical data and then propose a Deep Learning model to assess the inflammation Intensity.
