Thomas Dandres get a Ph.D. (CIRAIG - Polytechnique Montreal, 2012) focusing on the integration of economic and prospective fields in life cycle assessment (LCA). During his research project he developed the macro LCA approach by combining an economic model (GTAP) with the LCA methodology in order to assess environmental impacts of large scale policies implemented on the long-term. From 2012 to 2015, Thomas Dandres worked as a postdoctoral fellow in CIRAIG in close collaboration with Synchromedia Lab. (École de Technologie Supérieure) and Ericsson Montreal. In this project, he lead a student team and pursue the development of LCA to minimize in real time the environmental footprint of a cloud computing technology developed by Synchromedia Lab. Since 2015 Thomas Dandres has become Research Associate in CIRAIG and Synchromedia.
