Reza FARRAHI MOGHADDAM received his B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering and his Ph.D. degree in Physics from the Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman, Iran, in 1995 and 2003, respectively. Since 2007, he has been a Postdoctoral Fellow with the Synchromedia Laboratory for Multimedia Communication in Telepresence, École de technologie supérieure (ETS), University of Quebec, Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Dr. Farrahi has published more than 50 technical papers. His research interests include mathematical modeling for image processing, document image processing and understanding, perception, green economy, and behavior analysis.
Kim Khoa Nguyen received a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Concordia University, Canada in 2007. He also holds an MSc and a B.Eng in Computer Science. From 2008 to 2010, he has been with Optical Communication Research Laboratory at Concordia University and Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of University of Sherbrooke. He is a Research Fellow at Synchromedia. Dr Nguyen is author of several publications in networking and telecommunications fields. He is also involved in editing standards for green ICT.
