
Kim Khoa Nguyen received a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Concordia University, Canada in 2008. He also holds an MSc and a B.Eng in Computer Science. From 2008 to 2010, he has been with Optical Communication Research Laboratory at Concordia University and Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of University of Sherbrooke. He is currently a Research Associate at Synchrmedia Lab, ETS. He is author of several publications in networking and telecommunication fields.

Samir Hadjout is research assistant at the Synchromedia laboratory at the École de technologie supérieure. He is the architect of Synchromedia Platform. He has experience in application design/programming, technology survey and teaching at the high school. He holds his Bachelor degree in computer engineering at Institut National d’Informatique, Algiers in 1997. He holds a master degree in Information Technology at École de technologie supérieure in 2006. His specialization is related to Multimedia synchronous collaborative work technologies and platforms. He joined Synchromedia project at the beginning (since 2004) and he works on Synchromedia Platform V1. He is an active member in Synchromedia team.
